Transportation: Buses will collect and return golfers to the George R. Brown Convention Centre,
there is also plenty of parkingat the golf course for those who prefer to drive their own car..

Additional: Players have the option to hire golf clubs from the course for an additional fee.

About the Golf Day

The LNG 17 Golf Day sponsored by Qatargas – World’s Premier LNG Company, will be a fantastic networking opportunity held at the world class championship calibre Tournament Course in the Woodlands Country Club, Houston, Texas.

Originally designed by Robert Von Hagge and Bruce Devlin in 1978, the Tournament Course was known as the TPC at The Woodlands from 1985 through 2004. It has hosted 18 PGA Tour Houston Open events as well as the LPGA’s Samsung World Championship.

Designed to place a premium on hitting fairways, the Tournament Course is a thorough but fair test for golfers of all playing abilities. The 17th and 18th holes are renowned for consistently ranking as two of the four toughest holes in Texas. The 13th hole is a par five that features an island green.

In May 2012, Fred Funk won the Insperity Championship at the Tournament Course which is part of the PGA senior tour. Under guidance of the Champions PGA Tour, the course was refurbished in summer 2012 with all new cart paths as well as reconditioning and replanting all greens during a four month closure to maintain the course for premium play conditions. The course will be in immaculate condition for LNG17 in preparation for the May 2013 Insperity Championship.

With its storied history and reputation as being one of the best golf courses in the Southwest, the Tournament Course continues to be a true golfer’s delight!

Delegates will be welcomed to the course with a full breakfast, play 18 holes in a Texas Scrambles format with a Shotgun start at 9 AM followed by an Awards Luncheon.
