Marcelino Oreja Arburua
CEO, Enagás
Marcelino Oreja Arburua was born in 1969. He is Patent Rights Officer, Industrial Engineer from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería (ICAI) and holds a Master from the IESE.
Before joining Enagás, Mr. Oreja was Chairman of FEVE, Spanish Railway Company. Previously, he was General Manager of Systems and Technologies in Emte S. A.
From 2000 to 2002 he was International Manager of Aldeasa. Among its various positions, he also was Managing Director of Garrigues & Andersen Patents and Trademarks, Member of the Board of Ente Vasco de la Energía and Member of the European Parliament from 2002 to 2004.
Mr. Oreja was named Chief Executive Officer of Enagás in 2012.
